Today’s the birthday of an application on the Macintosh that holds a special place in my heart: iCal. In honor of its birthday, the default date on the icon is today, July 17th. When you look at the application in the system, the icon says July 17, but after you launch it, it changes the date. However, today’s the one day of the year that when you launch the application it doesn’t change from its default icon.
Celebrate.
