		<description>Reinstalling OS X was the only thing they did. They told me that they&#039;d replace the SuperDrive. If I knew that a OS X reinstall would fix the problem, I would have done it myself, saving myself days of inconvenience.</description>

That&#039;s like when Matt sent in his Red Ring&#039;d Xbox360, they just sent him a new one instead of fixing the problem.
He had to re-do all of his Xbox Live stuff.
Of course, 360 hard drives are removable, so they stuck the old one in the new system, so he didn&#039;t lose any game saves.

But, was reinstalling MacOS the ONLY thing they had to do to fix it?</description>
