I'm glad to know they're not in that "trying-too-hard" sort of way, because I can't stand it when people try too hard to impress or be humorous.

I've got some big stuff coming down the pike: a few book reviews, a video, some cool tech stuff, and a huge college admissions series.

I also hope to chronicle what's going on in Dover, for all of my college friends who aren't able to catch up on the action very easily.

Alright, I think I was a little unclear in my reference to your blogs being humorous. They are, but not in an excessive, "trying-too-hard" sort of way. If they were literary classics, I would label them as satirical, which is enjoyable to any reader (except maybe the person whom the satire is directed at). :) For example, your blogs on the dishonest carney or chain e-mails were admittedly pretty funny at some points, although it is clear that humor is not their direct or only intention. I still feel that as the site progresses, blogs on college admissions would be fine to include, as the process is long and manifold. There's really plenty to discuss, and it's interesting as most of those reading your blogs have made or are currently making that process a big part of their lives. Blogs on other affais, local and abroad, are also good material, I would say. I hope that clears things up!

@Christine:
Humor, eh? I don't find what I write funny, but I'm glad someone does. And yes, a random evaluation is exactly what I'm looking for, thank you. :) The strategy you outlined is my exact plan, basically. College admissions with commentary about things I care about: dover, politics, nature, media, tech, apple, et cetera.

@Maia:
Yup, your opinion is always important to me, and you know that. ;) So you think I've been depressing? You know I'm dramatic about grades and whatnot, as you are too. I know I made it sound like the end of the world with the 4 on the AP exam, but, I didn't know exactly who got what grades at that time. At this point, I'm content. And, about shit loads of money - referring to the RPI medal, there's plenty left to be paid there, and I still haven't decided whether a tech school is my destination or not. It's tormenting knowing there's a great thing waiting for me, but I most likely won't have enough money to keep pay the rest of the tab, reasonably.

I'm getting mixed messages here. Chrisine thinks I'm being funny, while Maia would like to see more funny. I guess I'll just have to pump it up.

Thanks Maia and Christine. Keep 'em coming, please. I need the guidance to make this venture succeed.

SO, you want my opinion? :) Well, personally it is depressing to hear about all your dilemmas about how to decide which shit load of money you will be choosing, or a 4 on an AP exam. I'd like to hear about what you find funny, humorous, or insightful about each of your days, because most of the time, what you find funny, I find funny. Of course current events are fun. And the occasional geeky paragraph I can overlook.

So far I find exposay.net to have humorous blog posts that concentrate on different, important issues (the only exceptions being those that focus on the Dover Carnival). Just kidding, but in all seriousness, I think this site is doing really well so far, if you're interested in a random evaluation. Apart from admissions, including blog posts on perhaps national issues may be interesting (i.e. the election or something of that nature.) Commentaries on anything of universal interest, such as what's new in the media, again, news on anything particularly noteworthy, political or otherwise, new technological advances (the iphone!), etc. may be of interest. So far I think the posts have been great, though. 'Just giving some feedback as I saw you were looking for some.
