@Joe: I look at all advertising very critically, because I dislike things taking away pieces of my time (sorry). Nothing really stands out to me except stuff I hated. Font (size) and color changes as an attempt to be "cool" is a no-no in my book. I hate that so much, really. That's all that comes to mind.

Ricky, I know you get absolutely bombarded with all kinds of materials from schools.. Were there any that stood out to you as either excellent or just plain awful? Were there any schools that you may not have known about that sent you something that was worth taking a second look? Joe

Forget yesterday, we'll make the great escape...

OK, seriously,. I have 2 baskets full of college letters. I threw out the ones:
1) outside of NY, CT, RI, PA, NJ, & MA
2) Community Colleges
3) Party schools
4) associated with the military dogs

I ended up with mostly prestigious schools (Ivy, MIT, etc.) and the 25 in that book that I showed you. Including "Renassetter".

I hear ya! During my college search, I didn't throw much of anything away, and instead of having useful information at hand, the many letters, brochures, booklets, and even DVDs became overwhleming and very counterproductive. It's best to simply throw out information from colleges that you know you simply won't be applying to. It'll clear both your mind and your room. :)
