Last night went wonderfully for Matt and I, co-Dover-DJs. There was a moment of panic when I thought we didn’t have enough music, and another when the speakers were a little finicky. Both issues were eventually non-issues, and most everyone was happy, including me.
Shout-out to stereo equipment from the 70’s, auxiliary speakers from the 90’s, and a MacBook Pro from 2006. [Edit: Additional shout-out to Exposay member J-Rizzle for her help!]

Matt & Ricky: Awesome Tunes: Great Job! (If anyone got that [as] reference, thank you.)
I’m glad your night went off without a hitch. I’m not sure what to make of SADD, tho. It seems to me there are more important causes.
@Chris: It wasn’t an activist event, it was a fundraiser. A thing just to make money.
thank you so much for mentioning me. don’t worry, i can take the pain.
thats awesome! i belong to the sadd chapter at my school. what kind of activities do you guys do?
@likapuma: I’m not a member of the SADD chapter, because I made a deal with myself a long time ago not to overexert myself in too many organizations. However, I’m most definitely a friend of the club, and think I agree with almost all of their values.
At my high school, various organizations hold “middle school activity nights” for the middle school. There is one per month, and they’re all similar. They consist of an open gym, and a cafeteria with a DJ playing some hip beats.
SADD goes to a conference once a year, hold a Halloween party for elementary school students, and help with the establishment of a safe After Prom Party. It’s quite wonderful.
Money that could be used to buy Iodine for people dying of brain damage.
