Lehigh Visit

Yet again, I type up a post from the back seat of a car! This time, I’m returning from Lehigh University. Suffice it to say, Lehigh was wonderful. My photos are public on facebook, and here’s my brief review.

The number one thing that stuck out about Lehigh was its beauty. I’m a sucker for trees, whether deciduous or evergreen. They’re scattered throughout the hilly campus, creating a natural ambience. The campus is set upon a huge hill, and stairs are widespread. I found the plethora of stairs ironic because one of Lehigh’s notable alumni invented the escalator. The hills and stairs may phase some people, but I didn’t mind them.

Lehigh is one of those hybrid liberal arts and engineering schools, like Lafayette, that I’ve been trying to find. Academically, it’s selective, and I think I’ve got the stuff to get in. Without a doubt, I’m applying there.

I know that this review was a little short. At this point, nothing that admissions officers say is new to me. That’s good, right?
