[...] Within hours of the next morning, I had dozens of emails sent to me by financial aid professionals. For me, a student panicked about the entire financial aid process, this was tremendous. For that, I was and am very grateful. Thanks to my academic rigor, some preparation, and information from the Financial Aid Podcast, I’ve been accepted to some great colleges with some stellar financial aid packages.
Mike, unmet need is money out of pocket, not money in general.

I'd be paying approx. 12 grand there for the first year, and an unknown amount after that in loans.

Unmet Need: $50

Just the fact the you could go to what I assume is a fairly prestigious school at a total cost of $200 is quite humorous.

Noted. The work-study money only affected RPI.

So we're good.

Tufts was very generous but keep in mind work-study money goes straight into your pocket for personal expenses--sometimes it's easy to get a job on campus without work study, but sometimes it isn't, depends on the school. Apparently my brother, for example, had a really hard time finding a job, while here you definitely could if you weren't too picky.
