This blog’s got one year under its belt today. It was exactly a year ago that I published my first post, “Hello World!“. That post read:

It’s only the beginning. Beginnings are meager, sometimes. It begins, and it begins today. Meagerly.
It began meagerly, but I’ve come so far with your help. The community around this blog helped me get into a fantastic college, survive an ear surgery and its ensuing traumas, solve problems with matshia superdrives, grapple with a decaying high school, and graduate from it.
It all started as a way to document my college admissions experience. Now, it’s so much more. This blog is, for me, a way to voice my opinions on all sorts of issues around a group of fun and intelligent people who care about the world.
