After it reached zero it jumped back up to 50 invites. I've got a little pain and rsi in my wrist right now but the invitation box is finally gone. Woohoo! I just performed the laborious task of sending myself 99 invites (you can do about 10 at a time before gmail starts complaining of errors) and my OCD is loving the cleaner look. Cheers! I invited a random email address 50 times (sorry to to the person who owns that email address) and it disappeared.
